Gyan G. Robinson
Gyan Robinson is the Managing Partner of Westinson Law. His main practice areas are Banking & Finance, Conveyancing, Corporate Law, Civil Litigation, Intellectual Property, Real Estate Development and Estate Planning.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree with honours from the University of London and a Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School. He is a practicing member of the Jamaica and Saint Christopher (Kitts) and Nevis bar having been admitted to practise in December 2013 and May 2014 respectively. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with honours in International Relations with a minor in Political Science from the University of the West Indies and received a certificate in community mediation from the Dispute Resolution Foundation of Jamaica.
Prior to founding Westinson Law, Gyan was an associate at Daniel Brantley, the largest and well renowned law firm in the Saint Christopher (Kitts) and Nevis and the Eastern Caribbean, where he gained a wealth of experience in civil litigation as lead and junior counsel. He also gained a vast knowledge of the offshore financial services in Nevis, the Saint Christopher (Kitts) and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme as well as Intellectual Property particularly in trademark protection.
Award(s): Council of Legal Education/Norman Manley Law School “The Richard Wayne Lee Memorial Special Prize” (2013) Awarded to students who were most involved in protocol and etiquette programme, students’ activities, student welfare, and showed interest in the Law School.
